May 8th: “Don’t Give into Arthritis” A lecture by Metro Pt in conjunction with the Arthritis Foundaiton, will be given at the North Shore Public Library on Tuesday, May 8th at 1:00 pm. Metro PT will be talking about therapeutic procedures for pain relief and memory retention, physical therapy modalities, lazer, cryotherapy, aquatics, balance and exercise progression to take away pain. May 9th: “Don’t Give into Arthritis”
A public education Arthritis Expo will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 1 to 3pm at the Bellmore Memorial Library. Participants will choose to attend two out of four workshops on exercise, pain management, nutrition and stress management. There will be entertainment provided by Moonlight Serenaders. Metro PT will be talking about therapeutic procedures for pain relief, modalities, lazer, cryotherapy, aquatics, balance and exercise progression to take away pain. The Expo is conducted and sponsored cooperatively by the Bellmore Memorial Library, HealthCare Partners and the Arthritis Foundation. Contact Metro PT at 516-745-8050 for more information.
