DR. Mariel Hunerberg, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Mariel received her MS in Speech-Language Pathology at Brooklyn College in 2014. She worked in Skilled Nursing Facilities until 2020 when she started the Speech Therapy program here at Metro. Mariel has worked with patients across the lifespan from birth to geriatric care. She specializes in infant and pediatric feeding including tongue ties, TBI, post Stroke, Dysphagia (swallowing), Voice disorders, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease and other progressive neurological disorders. Outside of work, Mariel enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs, teaching yoga, and raising her son Michael who was a miracle micropreemie.
